  1. Introduces¬†the¬†author and¬†gives¬†information about¬†the¬†application.

  3. File menu

  5. Items in this menu select, save, and print Pocket Forth programs.  You can also debug and quit the application.
  6.  
  7. Displays a dialog box that allows you to select a text document.
  8.  
  9. If the document contains a Pocket Forth program, it will be interpreted.  If the document is not a program, an interpreter error will be displayed.

  11.         CAUTION:
  12. Use only on a copy of Pocket Forth!

  14. All changes you have made to the Pocket Forth application will be made permanent.  Opened documents are not effected.

  16.               DANGER!
  17. Do not release the button!
  18.  
  19. Unless you have installed a debugging application you will get a bomb box!  You can then use the "Resume" (or "Continue") button to quit.

  21. A debugger, such as TMON, Macsbug, etc., is entered if installed.

  23. Beep the speaker.

  25. The Print command is here to support future expansion.  Nothing is actually printed.

  27. Quit the Pocket Forth application without fanfare.  Unless you have Saved prior to Quitting, all additions and changes will be disgarded.

  31. Most of these items are for use with desk accessories on older systems.

  33. Also, you can paste a program into Pocket Forth.

  35. Nothing can be Undone, this just beeps.

  37. You cannot Cut anything.  This just beeps.

  39. Since there is nothing to Copy, this just beeps.

  43. Interprets a Pocket Forth program from the clipboard as if you had typed it in.  If the clipboard contains text that is not a program, an error will be indicated.

  45. There is nothing to Clear, this just beeps.

  49. Type or paste Pocket Forth ‚Äòwords‚Äô into this window.  The text is interpreted after each line and any output is printed here.
